Web Development & Coaching
Over the course of my professional development I have also dabbled in creative outlets from photography to web design. I am not necessarily creative, but i enjoy being creative - and learning new things along the way.
Website building is a fun side-gig, especially when done for friends and/or who own small businesses who don't have the resources or know-how to get their sites running. It begins with small collaborative meetings and when the sites are completed I hold mini sessions to teach and coach each business owner on how to make changes, swap out images or update content until they feel fully comfortable taking full ownership.
Payment for this service is accepted in wine and tacos only. Please contact me for more details if interested.

Graphic Art
Usually only done for specific wants and needs, I love to dabble in graphic art. Below is a town map recently commissioned by Nalu Makai in Nosara, Costa Rica. It's not much but it helps guests get around and it was fun to make it happen.

ETHICS!
I have been active in seminars and sessions on all things ethics since 2003 when I was assisting a researcher study the capacity to consent for placebo-controlled studies for those experiencing acute psychosis. In 2006 I attended my first bioethics seminar at UCSD when the Terry Schrivro case was on the world stange. Although I didn't quite understand then how to make a profession or career in this field, I have found ways to stay connected through judging the Ethics in Engineering essay competition held by COSMOS since 2011 and by judging and mediating at my first Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl this fall.
